We then spent the rest of the week in Vegas with my family and to see Daddy, since we don't get to see him very often. We took the girls down to his office to meet some of the office staff and the family owners of the company. They were very welcoming and very glad to meet me and the girls. Seem like very nice people, but I've heard too many stories to believe it. (We'll have to see what happens there.) We did do some more neighborhood hunting.
[As a side note: Something just doesn't feel right, though, about moving to Vegas. It's all too surreal, maybe, but still, something is just not jiving. I'm trying really hard to be open-minded and willing, but it would not be my choice right now.]
O.K. Back to Spring Break in Vegas...
Aunt Heather wanted to die Easter eggs with the girls, because she never gets to do that with them, even though Easter is not for a couple of weeks. They had a blast!
We also went to Ethel M's Chocolate Factory and Cactus Garden (a tradition when we go to Vegas). It's always fun to see the treats being made and sample the yummy chocolates. The desert cactus garden blooms beautifully during springtime
One of the highlights of our trip was going to the Springs Preserve with Grandpa Hyte. We had never done that before so it was new and exciting. The girls explored for hours and we took a gazillion photos of all the fun.
Whew! Fun times! Darin worked most of the week, but it was fun for all of us to have him come home to us at night after work and not to have to wait until the weekend to see him.
