Purchased more storage!

I guess it's not my blogger space that's full...it's my Picasa Web Album (where Blogger stores all the photos I attach to my blog).  We are only given 1GB of free space.  When that is full, you have the option to buy more storage space.  I broke down and did that.  For $5/year, I purchased 20GB more of space in my Picasa Web Album.  I felt it was an easier, less expensive, and immediate solution to my problem.  I eventually would like to start printing my blogs into books.  I researched a little of that out yesterday and today.  It will take a bit of work and a little $$$, but might be worth it in the end.  I just don't have either (time and $$$) right now, so a $5 purchase to Google was a welcomed option.  Just thought I'd put that out there, in case any of you have that problem in the near future.  Maybe some of you can tell me if you use Picasa/Google to house your online photos or if you go another route.  Do you select the "large" option?  What if you have a lot of photos to share?  Do you do slideshows?  Who do you do those through?  I may need to take a stroll through my fellows' blogs.  I haven't visited in a long while.  I might be able to see for myself what you all are doing!

  1. I save the pictures on my computer then I use Window Live Writer to publish my posts. So far I have not run into that problem. Good luck finding more solutions!

Here is a link for printing a blog book: http://blog2print.sharedbook.com/blogworld/printmyblog/cutestblog/index.html

  2. You know. I honestly have no idea! :D I hit upload, it uploads them, and then I hit publish! The less I know or have to know the happier I am. :D Makes it easier to ask for forgiveness later too instead of permission. :P

  3. I store mine on the computer and then upload them through blogger. I do have Picasa on my computer, but use it very little, so I hope I don't find myself in your position someday soon.

I plan to print my blog out someday too. But I wanted to wait until I have enough to make a good sized book. Does anyone know how many pages/posts you can print out into a book?

  4. All of my photos are saved on my computer. It's just when you use blogger to import a photo from your computer into your blog post, it puts a copy of the picture in an album (titled the same as your blog) on the picasa web album website. It is part of the free online storage space given to you as a blogger user. It is where blogger stores and links to the photos you drop into each of your posts. If you are all just using blogger to upload your photos, you have a Picasa web album, too. There is a way to look up your albums on the Picasa web album site and see how much storage space you have left. This is some crazy stuff!
