This year's pumpkin decorating went to a grander scale when we included extended family members and friends in the project. With my family still in town, we decided to do it for Family Home Evening on Monday night. The results were hilarious and I think many of us showed creativity "beyond" the norm of passed years. Here is a slideshow of the process and finished products.
HINT: Now that my blog is reformatted, the slideshows have to come in at a smaller size...harder to see. If you click anywhere in the slideshow box (other than the PLAY bar - that just forwards you through the slideshow at the small size), the slideshow will open in the Picasa web page in the original large size format. You can view the pics from there a lot bigger and file through them using the arrows at the top or you can click the full screen button on the top left corner. This will open the slideshow in a big window with black all around it. Nice for viewing. On both settings, you can navigate through the pics as fast or as slow as you want, by using the arrow keys. (This is especially good for my mom who likes to see our pics bigger and go through them slower. Everyone else can add this techno training to your GEE WIZ collection...or you can apply it to your own viewing enjoyment if you want. Thanks for indulging me for a moment. Love ya' all!)

What a great idea! And not as messy as carving.
