Pumpkiin Patch 2009

It's time to catch-up on our Fall Fun.

The Pumpkin Patch
We had to find pumpkins last minute for a family pumpkin activity, so we ended up going late one evening to the pumpkin patch. We had never been at night before. It was fun, but the camera had a hard time focusing on the right thing, and the girls didn't appreciate the bright flashes. The kid-friendly wheelbarrows were a novelty that made up for the fact that we didn't get to actually cut the pumpkin off the vine as we have done in years past at another patch. And the tractors were a lot of fun for the girls, too. The corn maze at night proved exciting, as one of the workers had sneaked in and hid in the patch to jump out and scream at us as just before we found the exit. The girls all jumped and ran back toward me. It made me laugh.
