Makenna has such a sweet little spirit and we are so grateful that she made the decision to be baptized and follow the Savior's example. She looked beautiful in her new white dress.
Mak and Daddy
Families are Forever!
It was a crazy day, as well. Our ward's time slot for the stake baptism day was scheduled for 2 p.m. which normally wouldn't have been a problem, other than the fact that I had to have the three older girls ready for their dance recital that same night by 5:30 p.m. (costumes, hair, make-up...the whole shebang). We knew we would not have time to do a family/friend gathering afterward, so we did a luncheon before. We were so grateful for all the loved ones that came from near and far to share this occasion with her.
For my own purposes, I am listing who came:
Grandpa & Grandma Hyte
Aunt Heather
Uncle Dave and his girlfriend, Chelsea (Not pictured...they took off too early.)
Aunt Holly
Aunt Heidi
Steve Black (Heidi's date)
Darin's brother, Ben, and his wife, Melanie
Paul Jensen family
Cathy and Brenna Sanford
Emily Flake and some of her girls
Lynne Nelson with Liam and Ashton
Dave, Rhonda, and Shelby Ebel
Kevin and Gayla Moore
Mandi and Scott Jones and family
Diane and Kimy Bird
Bott Family
Baptism Cake
...Miscellaneous photos of the luncheon...
...on the way to the font...
...most of the gang...
...some of the extended family...
...GREEN - the color of choice...
I am thankful for my Dad!
This is the other little girl in our ward who was baptized with Mak.
We mothers did not coordinate our outfits, BTW. (Krista F. and her mother)
