Performances

The girls have been in a few performances over the last couple months between their drama classes and ballet classes.  They had a dance competition in April, a musical theater performance in May, and a ballet recital in June.  These events always offer great photo opps, but don't always produce the best photos (particularly the ones of the actual performance).  But before, after, and back-stage access help us capture other great moments.  Here are a few highlights from the dance competition.



Another performance the girls participated in was "The Wonderfully Wicked Witches of Oz" put on by their Up With Kids! musical theater group.  The shows were at the beginning of May.  We took sooooo many photos of Brooklyn, Makenna, and Dakota during their acting, singing, and speaking parts, but the photos don't do their performances justice.  And some of them didn't turn out.  They had two nights of performances so here are some of the better pictures taken from either night.



In June, the girls danced in their ballet recital with Rocky Mountain Dance.  Photos below for that performance.
