Enough is Enough!!

So FRUSTRATING!  Do you ever feel like you could punch someone?  
 
I can't believe what is happening at Darin's work.  I really do feel like driving down to his offices and chewing a few people out!

It's just not fair.

I am so confused as to why things have to happen.  Darin was feeling so great about his job just a couple of months ago (after their Harley trip) and in just a few weeks many have turned on him.  His female boss has ganged up on him and is in cahoots with his two female employees.  He has been accused of stealing from the company.  (Yah!  Right!  Not, Darin!)  And has people telling him to "shut up" (because he knows too much).  They are all making his life a living HELL!  Quite possibly, his female boss is very jealous about the fact that Darin is getting in good with the big wigs...or so he thought.

In September, the "BOSSES" called him up to their office to offer him a different position... something that would help take the company to the next level...something that would really challenge him.  They hadn't worked out the details, yet, but were going to get back with him.  They told him how grateful they were to him and what he has brought to the company.  They knew that he had been under a lot of pressure and were very impressed with they way he has handled things.  They knew that it had been taking a tole on him, his health, and his family.  They wanted him to take some time off to recuperate, rejuvenate, rest, and recreate with us.  They would contact him soon with more details about the new venture so that when he came back to work they'd be ready to run with it.

Well, he took the time off...only, they haven't called him back...it's been almost two-weeks...nothing.  So, Darin called them back.  No one seems to know anything.  They aren't sure if he really has a position or not, after all.  He told them that he was going to come back to work immediately.  That first day back, he discovers that the lady who he replaced when he first came to the company (one of the ones who has caused so much grief) has been moved into his office (her old office).  Darin has been moved downstairs, into a cubicle with only a phone, no computer, and a different boss who doesn't know what duties Darin is to do.  He nonchalantly tells Darin, "Frankly, I'm not sure what your even doing on my team.  It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to start looking for another job."

Great!  He knows too much and they can't fire him.  They'll just make life miserable for him so that he'll quit.   They won't have to pay him a severance package, that way either.

He is trying to understand what happened.  He's been trying to communicate and get answers from one of the big wigs who he considers a confidant (a father figure, of sorts), but is not standing up for him.  He has stepped back and is not speaking up about the injustices against Darin.  Very unlike him.  It's almost like he has been threatened, as well.   He's been told that he can't get everything done that they've asked him to do and that he is a "yes man", someone who says he'll get it done, but can't.  They have forgotten all too quickly that just few weeks before, they told him they realize that they have given him too much to chew and that it was unfair of them to give so much to one person (especially one who has been dealing with the additional drama of his employees and boss) and that he has done a great job under the circumstances.  They question the rumors spread by his boss and employees and are having the legal department checking it out "just to be safe",

For this...I feel like screaming, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY!"
