I was asked to help with our school's first talent show. They had not found enough volunteers to help and were going to cancel it if not for more volunteers. It was a lot of work, but a great experience.
All three girls performed solos in the show. Brooklyn wowed the crowed with a beautiful rendition of "True Colors", in the style of the great Eva Cassidy. She had teachers and parents in tears. Makenna performed a song on her violin. Dakota sang "Zip-a-dee doo dah" from Disney's "Song of the South" and won the hearts of many. I like to encourage them to share their talents when opportunities arise. I am so proud of them. They truly are little stars.
