The Difficult Lesson

She's finished.  I may have blogged about her before, but I don't remember.  All I know is that she is complete.  (Of course I'm talking about Darin's latest painting.)
 

I know he posted pics of the finished product on his facebook page, but she is worthy of her own post on my blog.  She is mesmerizing (and oh, so much better in person).  Darin completed this reproduction entitled, "The Difficult Lesson" by French Renaissance painter, William Adolph Bouguereau recently and I am in love.  We plan to get giclee prints made on canvas of this masterpiece in hopes of spreading that love.  I know the time will come when we will have to sell this beauty (as much as I'd love to keep it) as we will need the income, but for now, I will enjoy her.
